Wendy Williams has been going through a few transformations in her life lately, and she seems to be moving forward quite well, despite some of the controversy surrounding her.
And while she has done her best to distance herself from her former husband, Kevin Hunter, ever since their separation, it looks like the situation is still haunting her in various ways.
Most recently, Williams was ordered by the court to pay Hunter the sum of $250,000 for relocation purposes.
The money has to be used for finding a new home and securing the corresponding arrangements, according to official reports.
Williams has reportedly been living it up ever since the split, renting an apartment that reportedly costs $15,000 each month.
It is interesting to note that Hunter was the reason for the divorce in the first place after it came out that he had had a child with his alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson.
The news took many by surprise — including Williams, who was going through some difficult times during that period — and eventually led to the initiation of divorce proceedings by Williams herself.
And while the situation died down pretty quickly on the public front, it does not look like the same could be said for things behind the scenes.
Entirely, on the contrary, Williams is still going through quite a lot over her relationship with Hunter, and she might feel the impact of her separation for a long time into the future as well.
On a recent episode of the Wendy Williams Show, the TV host had a field day calling out the woman who stole her husband.
She said: “I’ve only said this as a joke to Hot Topics, you know, poke a hole in the condom, and get pregnant. But that backfired on me, didn’t it?”
She went on to say: “All’s I’m saying is turnabout’s a fair game. I’m a fair game player, and a straight shooter too. Pow Pow. Life is not what you think it is behind the scenes. Trust me! Homegirl is miserable, like ‘Ehhh.’ In the meantime, I’m over here, you know. That’s what you get!”
While on The View, Williams had this to say about the messy matter: “Infidelity is one thing: a full baby is a whole other topic. A baby! I’m not changing pampers, and I want to be pampered. From my mother, I’ve learned how to make lemons into lemonade in life. What am I supposed to do? Sit in the house and cry? That’s why I’m going into season 11, and he’s changing pampers.”
It will take some time before Williams can really clear this situation.
