Ashanti playfully referred to her boyfriend as ‘big head’ in a brief comment on the post. Nelly and the Grammy Award-winning artist first crossed paths during the 45th Annual Grammy Awards in 2003. They stayed together for a decade before news of their separation surfaced.
Speculation about a potential reconciliation arose this past April when they were seen holding hands during a boxing match in Las Vegas.
Nelly officially confirmed his reunion with Ashanti in an interview on the Boss Moves With Rasheeda show last September. He expressed, “Yeah, we’re cool again,” and further revealed that the reconciliation was unexpected and not premeditated.
