DDG revealed he lost his multimillion dollar mansion in the L.A. wildfires. In a podcast, the 27-year-old former YouTube comedian said he didn’t have fire insurance on his house.
“I found out today — I don’t know if this is TMI or not, but I found out today that I ain’t got fire insurance,” he said.
“So I’m figuring that out, bro, ’cause my crib burned down,” he said. “That’s just [millions] wasted, bro.”
“If I don’t got fire insurance, bro, it’s a wrap. Yea, I just gotta take the [loss] on the chin.” DDG said he is working on getting his insurance, but it may be too late.
DDG, real name Darryl Granberry, is best known for dating singer/actress Halle Bailey, 24. In 2023, they welcomed their first child, a son named Halo Bailey. It isn’t clear if they are still dating.
