Life isn’t always what we expect it to be and at times, we might even be surprised with what it can throw our direction. One woman who knows this very well is Jackie Miller James.
As a social media influencer, she is accustomed to having people know a little bit about her personal life. What they may not know, however, is that the 35-year-old woman was in a coma while she was pregnant.
The amazing thing was, she delivered the baby via c-section while she was in the coma and eventually woke up, seeing her baby for the first time after the child was already born.
The family was ecstatic over the news, so they shared the information on Instagram. It was a fitting tribute, considering the fact that she has ever 92,000 followers.
“We are beyond thrilled to share that your loving prayers for Jackie have been working!” the post read. “Jackie is awake and was recently transferred to one of the best neurological rehabilitation hospitals in the country. The doctors have been pleased upon her latest tests, numbers, and evaluations, noting that Jackie is performing above expectations at this stage of her recovery and is progressing more with every passing day.”
“While Jackie is making wonderful strides, she has an incredibly long road to recovery ahead of her,” the post continued. “The prayers, love, and support from this community are more important than ever as she continues to heal.”
The post continued: “Jackie & Austin’s baby girl is a constant source of light for the entire family and continues to grow into a happy, healthy, and animated little angel. Jackie has also recently been reunited with her baby, and spends a great deal of each day with her entire family while in the hospital.”
“We are currently navigating rehabilitation needs, medical bills, and insurance claims,” the second slide continued. “The resources raised from the GoFundMe will allow us to give Jackie the very best care and every chance at recovery. We are so appreciative of your donations, every little bit continues to help.”
On the last slide of the opening post, they said that I had respect for her privacy during the time that she was facing. When more information is available, Jackie will be the one that shares it.
Jackie was in a coma because of an aneurysm rupture that occurred a week before she was due to have the child. The coma was medically induced and the baby girl was delivered via C-section.
Many people have come forward to show their appreciation for Jackie and all that she does.
“If anyone can get through this it’s Jax,” someone shared. “Praying every day for our girl and her baby girl and family. We’ll be here whatever you need.

“Our girl!!!” someone else commented. “You are phenomenal jackie 
we need you, and here you are being the strong, incredible person you are!”
They set up a GoFundMe page to help with the medical bills as she is expected to be in the hospital for many months.
