Congratulations are in order! Ciara and football player husband Russell Wilson are expecting their third child together — and the singer’s fourth. The couple shared the happy news via Instagram in a video that Russell filmed while they were on their anniversary trip last month.
Ciara took to Instagram to share the exciting news.
“You look at me like that again, we make another kid … You my heart I’m your rib,” Ciara captioned the video.
Filmed in black and white, the video featured Ciara in silhouette dancing before she turns in profile, revealing her bump.
The new baby will join older siblings Win, 3, Sienna Princess, 6, and Future Zahir, 9, Ciara’s son from her previous relationship with rapper Future.
The news was thrilling for friends and followers.
Of course, there were hundreds of well wishes on the post.
“Congratulations Mama!!!” actress Lupita Nyong’o commented. “Sending [love] to you and @dangerusswilson!”
“Well since Russell went down on one knee with flowers asking for another kid, I knew she’d accept lmaooooo,” one commenter wrote.
Ciara has been working through her pregnancy.
“Ciara has been working and traveling all through her pregnancy. She shot the ‘How We Roll’ video while pregnant. She was dancing on set all day long for a full day’s shoot,” a source told People.
The source also noted that she filmed a music video while nine months pregnant with son Win.
“She’s one of those mothers who has energy throughout her whole pregnancy. She always calls her life organized chaos — but it’s organized chaos taking it up another notch,” the source added.
Family is the most important thing to the couple.
Despite the chaos, Ciara is looking forward to expanding her brood.
“This is what she has always wanted, and Russ too. They’ve always wanted a lot of kids,” the source.
It’s clear that Ciara loves being a mom and spending time with her family. She has spent most of this summer making family time a priority due it being the football off season. “We make a conscious effort to make our family unit moments happen in the summer,” she told People.
It’s been a summer full of happiness for their family.
Ciara and Russell celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary last month, and took to social media to celebrate each other and their love during their trip to Kyoto, Japan.
“My heart is complete and full of gratitude for the love we share. I have everything I want and need in you. Happy 7th Anniversary @DangeRussWilson. Thank you for loving me the way you do. I love you so much. Totemo Aishiteru,” Ciara captioned her post.
