A 19-year-old nurse from Loganville, Georgia was slapped with a felony for twerking on a disabled man’s head.
Lucrecia K. Koiyan uploaded TikTok videos that showed her inappropriately twerking on top of mentally disabled men at an assisted living facility.
“When I watched it, disgusted is the only word I know,” Loganville Police Chief Dick Lowry told WSB-TV.
“He is disabled and then making the video and posting it to social media for your own benefit is the exploitation of that person,” Lowry said.
Detectives armed with a warrant arrested Koiyan on Tuesday morning at her Loganville home.
“She was brought to the police department, went through the booking process and booked at the Walton County Jail,” Lowry said.
The Loganville Police Department released a mugshot that shows Koiyan smirking at the camera.
Last week, Koiyan uploaded TikTok videos that showed her twerking on top of at least 3 people.
In another video, Koiyan sparked outrage when she provocatively danced on the handles of a patient’s wheelchair while he seemed disoriented.
She responded to the backlash by arguing that the man didn’t complain.
“It’s not what it looks like, trust and believe, angles play a part,” she said in reference to the video. “A lot of people want to comment about sex-ual assault, rape, all type of dumb s**t. Trust and believe, he is verbal and I got proof,” she added before showing a clip of the same man talking.
“He looks very aware and comfortable to me so y’all need to stop jumping to conclusions. I do see how it looks but trust me it’s not that,” she said.
Koiyan faces one felony charge for the exploitation of a disabled person.
