Kanye “Ye” West and his wife Bianca Censori were not kicked out of the Grammy Awards after her attention-grabbing stunt on the red carpet on Sunday.
The rapper, 47, and his wife, 30, shocked fans when she arrived wearing a long black fur coat. She then dropped her coat on the red carpet, revealing her naked bod under a sheer dress. She was not wearing panties or a bra.
Grammy officials did not take action when Bianca disrobed on the red carpet and stood naked in front of millions of shocked viewers at home.
Reports circulated that Ye and Bianca were kicked out of the event after Bianca’s shameful public exposure. However, PEOPLE confirmed they were not kicked out and the police were not called.
Indecent exposure is still against the law in California and many jurisdictions around the country.
Ye’s appearance on the red carpet marked his first time attending the Grammy Awards in 10 years. He last appeared at the event in 2015, when he was nominated for best rap/song collaboration and best rap song for “Bound 2” from his 2013 album Yeezus.
Kanye was nominated for an award – and after they walked the carpet — they walked out and left.
In this video, the shameless couple is seen leaving Crypto.com Arena and getting into a custom wrapped Mercedes-Benz Maybach parked outside. One photographer asked Ye, “How come you’re only following Taylor Swift on Instagram?” But Ye didn’t respond to the question.
Ye and Bianca later attended a party at the Living Room Club in Los Angeles. She wore a sheer black one piece with fur stiletto boots.
Ye then posted — and deleted — images from the evening on his Instagram account, captioning one of the photos with “love story.”
Ye and Bianca were living in exile in Japan for months to avoid lawsuits in America. But he recently returned to the USA to face the music.
X users who are used to celebrity stunts were shocked by Bianca’s public nudity at the Grammys.
One person wrote: “Kanye West (Ye) overtakes Will Smith into No.1 position of ‘Greatest Celebrity Cuck’ after helping his wife Biance Censori strip naked at the Grammy’s.”
Another person wrote: “When is the last time Kanye made headlines for his talent as opposed to just being a jackass or shock value?”
And a third person said: “The couple was clearly hoping to attract attention, but at whose expense?”
