Pop superstar Rihanna brought chic and glamour to boyfriend A$AP Rocky‘s firearm assault trial in L.A. on Friday. The beauty maven made her second surprise appearance at the trial with Rocky who faces up to 24 years in prison for shooting a former friend.
Rihanna would be in Paris, France at Fashion Week right now if she wasn’t stuck in Los Angeles attending the trial. But she brought Paris Fashion Week to the courthouse steps!
Rihanna turned the courthouse sidewalk into an impromptu fashion runway. She sashayed to her waiting Uber VIP while wearing a grey jacket with faux sleeves, a black tank top and black leather trousers with black pointy toe heels.
Meanwhile, Rocky looked dapper in a cream-colored jacket and tan trousers with a button down shirt and maroon tie.
He smiled politely for the same photographers that he shoved out of his way on Friday, Jan. 24.
The frustrated rapper pushed his way through the mob of paparazzi so he wouldn’t be late for court.
One photographer was overheard asking Rocky, “What’s up, felon?”

Rihanna probably decided it would be wise to attend court with Rocky to help him stay calm. She can’t have the father of her children wasting away in prison during her sons’ formative years when they need a father the most.
Rocky arrived to court earlier in the day with his mom and sister, while Rihanna arrived via a private back entrance.
A source told the US Sun: “Rihanna arrived around 9:49 a.m. in a blacked-out SUV and met with two security guards who tried to throw everyone off and went down a side passageway out of the court. They jumped in her car in the underground parking lot, and she snuck into the court in a secret elevator and never walked the main corridor.”
RiRi made her first appearance in court on Thursday, Jan. 30. She wore an all-black ensemble with a turtleneck sweater and trench coat.
She reportedly sat beside Mayers’ mother and sister in the front row of the courtroom.
Prosecutors allege that Rocky fired a 9mm handgun multiple times at Relli, who suffered a grazed knuckle.
A$AP Relli, real name Terell Ephron, testified in court earlier in the week. He said Rocky held a gun to his stomach and said “I’ll kill you right now” before firing at least four shots.
Relli returned to the crime scene a day later and picked up 2 spent shell casings off the ground. He turned the casings over to police who obtained a warrant for Rocky’s arrest.
Police searched Rocky’s L.A. home and found an extended magazine for a 9mm handgun, but they never found the gun. Rocky’s lawyer claims the casings didn’t match the bullets in the extended magazine.
Rocky and Relli were members of the rap collective called A$AP Mob. The collective disbanded after the shooting. Relli is no longer rapping.
On Friday evening, an exhausted Rihanna and A$AP stepped out for dinner at Wally’s restaurant in Beverly Hills.
Rocky, 36, faces two felony charges of assault with a firearm for allegedly shooting A$AP Relli outside Hollywood’s W Hotel in 2021.
Rocky stubbornly rejected a plea deal offer of 180 days (6 months) in prison and seven years probation in exchange for a guilty plea. His reason? He did not want a felony conviction on his record. And he wouldn’t be able to tour in foreign countries while on probation.
