Jennifer Hudson and rapper Common were spotted holding hands while on a romantic date at Joe’s Pub in New York City on Saturday.
The Oscar winning singer-actress and Grammy-winning rapper have been officially a couple since July 2022. They made a special appearance at Joe’s Pub for a one-night-only performance honoring renowned jazz singer Mikel Mwalimu-Banksat.
Hudson, 42, wore a white jacket over black pants with black-and-white heels, while Common, 51, dressed comfortably in a cream shirt and tan cargo pants with white sneakers.
On Monday, Hudson appeared on CBS Mornings to promote her own daytime talk show, People.com reported.
“I am very happy,” Hudson replied with a big smile.
“A very nice relationship,” King added before teasing, “With someone who shall remain nameless.”
“Yes, ma’am,” Hudson laughed out loud.
CBS Mornings co-host Nate Burleson then asked, “So you’re booed up?”
“Booed up? I think it’s more sophisticated than booed up,” Hudson said with an insulted look on her face.
Burleson continued to press her: “A situationship? It’s not an entanglement is what I’m trying to say,” he explained.
“It’s definitely not an entanglement. That’s for sure,” Hudson said.
