Porsha Williams Guobadia Is Back On ‘RHOA’
Porsha Williams Guobadia took to social media on Tuesday to confirm she’s returning for Season 16 of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
The news of Porsha’s return comes just over a week after Kandi Burruss announced she was “taking a break” and would not be returning for Season 16.
Porsha Williams Guobadia originally joined the hit Bravo reality TV series in Season 5 as the wife of former NFL star Kordell Stewart.
They divorced in 2020 and Porsha remained on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and left following Season 13.
She will now return with her new husband, Simon Guobadia, who we briefly saw during Season 13 with his then-wife, Falynn Guoabadia.
In a statement, Porsha gushed:
I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family.
I’m looking forward to being back on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ and showing the world my new world!
Overall Scripted Talent Deal
It appears Porsha Williams Guobadia may have been given an incentive for returning to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
As part of her deal, Porsha has entered into an overall scripted talent deal with NBCUniversal for scripted project opportunities across the company’s broadcast and streaming properties.
Rachel Smith, Executive Vice President of Unscripted Content, Lifestyle and Documentaries, NBCUniversal Entertainment, said in a statement:
Porsha Williams Guobadia is a multi-hyphenate and we are fortunate to collaborate and tap into her creativity and passion through this partnership.
Our audience has supported and admired Porsha as she so authentically, hilariously and vulnerably shared her life over the years and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome her back to the NBCU family.
