The couple got married in Lake Como, Italy, on Sept. 14, 2013, a few days after legally tying the knot
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are celebrating a major relationship milestone: their 10-year wedding anniversary.
The couple, who first got legally married on Sept. 10, 2013 before cementing their union with a lavish ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, a few days later on Sept. 14, will be spending the upcoming weekend marking the occasion.
On her Instagram Story Thursday, Teigen teased that the “10th anniversary weekend is commmming” with a snapshot of a poolside location.
“The most perfect day,” she also wrote, adding the hashtag “#johnXchrissy.”
Teigen, 37, and Legend, 44, first met in 2006 while filming the music video for the crooner’s single, “Stereo,” before making their red carpet debut together in 2008 at the Grammy Awards.
After four years of dating, the two got engaged in 2011 and then tied the knot two years later.
Since being married, the couple has welcomed four children together. Daughter Luna Simone Stephens was born in 2016 and was followed by younger brother Miles Theodore Stephens, who was born in 2018.
In 2023, the couple welcomed their third baby, daughter Esti Maxine Stephens, who was shortly followed by the arrival of their baby son, Wren Alexander Stephens.
Over the years, Teigen and Legend have put their romance on display, from appearing in music videos together to sharing adorable moments of their relationship on Instagram.
In 2019, while celebrating their six-year wedding anniversary, the two went to Paris, where Teigen posted a hilariously candid photo of her sleeping on a chair while Legend was seen staring at a laptop.
Three years later, in 2022, Legend released a music video for the single, “Wonder Woman,” featuring Teigen, who was pregnant with Esti at the time.
“I married my Wonder Woman 9 years ago today. Happy Anniversary, my love,” Legend captioned the video on Instagram, adding, “You never cease to amaze me.”
One day prior to their wedding anniversary, both Teigen and Legend shared a carousel of photos to the social media platform, with the couple in the outfits they wore to Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour stop in Vancouver, Canada, as well as candid photos of their four children.
“Once in a lifetime artist!!!!” Teigen wrote on her post, noting that she was referring to Beyoncé and not her husband, while Legend captioned his update with, “Lately: Renaissance Tour 🪩🪩🪩🪩 + Babies, babies, babies.”
