Billy Idol‘s grandkids get to watch him rock out.
The “Rebel Yell” rocker, 67, shared photos on Instagram last week where he enjoys some time with son Brant and his family.
“Lovely family visit from my Long Island grandchildren Mason and McKenzie yesterday,” he wrote, adding, “I had lots of fun!”
The next night, Idol showed that the older of Brant’s two kids came to see him play a show at King’s Theatre in Brooklyn. Posing with McKenzie, 3, he wrote, “Had a lovely visit from my granddaughter McKenzie backstage at the kings theatre 🎭 yesterday… also with my son @brant_northridge_broad … also McKenzie started school recently.”

Brant shared his own photos from the visit on his Instagram, writing, “Beautiful day hanging with grand dad.”
It’s unclear how long Idol has been part of Brant’s life, as he was previously known to be a father of two — Bonnie Broad, 33, with ex Linda Mathis and Willem Wolf, 35, with ex Perri Lister.
Idol posed with all three of his kids and all four of his grandkids in January when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Idol smiled in the family photo, in which Bonnie’s daughters MaryJane Rebel, 20 months, and Poppy Rebel, 3, also appeared.
Speaking with PEOPLE in August 2021, Idol said that becoming a grandfather has changed him in ways he never expected.
“It opens you up emotionally,” he said. “Everything is a new experience for her. In a way, I’m reliving those experiences myself.”
