Congrats are in order for ex “The Real” co-host Adrienne Bailon and gospel vocalist Israel Houghton! The duo announced on Tuesday that they welcomed baby Ever James Houghton through surrogate.
Our baby boy is here & we are so glad! If you have followed our love story… you know that our journey to baby has been very tough and challenging – But God is true to His word and His promises. We have quietly prayed while sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last 9 months,” the duo said in a joint Instagram post.
“He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage. Everything. All we feel is joy and overwhelming love & gratitude.
Thankful to God, to our angel surrogate and to all of our friends and family who have stood with us for over five years on this journey. He’s here and we have never been glad to lose sleep!”
Adrienne and Israel married in 2016. Baby Ever is their 1st child together.
Israel has 4 children from a former connection — daughters Mariah and Lillie and sons Jordan and Sonny.
