Actor LaKeith Stanfield and his wife, Kasmere Trice, made an appearance at “The Book of Clarence” Breaking Bread Dinner held at The Gathering Spot in Atlanta. Stanfield, known for his unorthodox style, opted to dress up as Jesus for the occasion.
The couple got engaged in late 2022 and later tied the knot in July 2023. Stanfield proposed just before Kasmere’s birthday, aiming to make her birthday and the proposal distinct and memorable.
Kasmere expressed her surprise, saying, “He wanted my birthday to be its own thing and for me to be a fiancée on my birthday, which was awesome. It was so spectacular. And I just was crying, crying, crying. And I’m like, ‘How did I not see this coming?’ Normally I’m very hard to surprise, but he did… And he planned everything.”
Prior to announcing their engagement, Kasmere shared a photo of them holding hands on Instagram, captioned with “We are just happy af. that’s the caption lol 🥲.”
