They opened an Italian restaurant in Brooklyn named Loreta, with Hunter expressing his enthusiasm for this endeavor. He initially shared his excitement on social media, but the announcement has since been removed.
In addition to the restaurant venture, reports also mentioned Kevin’s quieter role as a barber in Florida, running a shop called Head Hunters, and his involvement in a vegan-chef business called Vegan Nose. Alongside Sharina, they are raising their two-year-old daughter, Journey, and she actively shares their vegan culinary creations on social media. Sharina has her own luxury athleisure line called ViSH NYC.
However, their business endeavors are facing uncertainty due to the absence of funds previously provided by Wendy Williams. Kevin Hunter has expressed that his pursuit is not about Wendy personally but about the money he believes he is owed for his years of dedication and investment in her and her company. His financial woes have led to risks like foreclosure on his house, the inability to afford health insurance, and car insurance arrears.
Despite his demands for payment, the courts have reportedly dismissed Kevin’s claims. According to their original agreements, his entitlement to funds was contingent on Wendy Williams continuing to work. With her job on hold due to her health, his payments ceased, and this decision had been communicated to him in 2021.
Wendy Williams has not publicly responded to Kevin’s ongoing demands for financial compensation. The talk show host is presently planning her return through a new podcast, indicating her intent to reenter the media landscape.
