Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy’s relationship is set to take a new dimension after their children confirmed they are dating via social media.
Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy are two of America’s finest comedians/actors. They have many awards, honors, and recognitions to prove their undeniable talents and will go down in history as two of the best in their fields.
Besides being Hollywood stars, the actors have starred together in movies like “Boomerang” (1992) and “Life” (1999). They have also been friends for many years.

In 2019, Martin shared several pictures that showed him posing with Eddie and other actors like Will Smith, Wesley Snipes, and Tracy Morgan. Eddie and Martin’s friendship may take a new dimension after their children confirmed their romantic relationship on Instagram recently.
Two weeks ago, Eddie’s son, Eric Murphy, shared two pictures that showed him cuddling with Martin’s daughter, Jasmin Lawrence. In the post’s caption, he did not hold back from expressing his love for her as he wrote:
“Head over heels in LOVE with YOU @jasmin_lawrence ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Multiple comments and reactions trailed the post, with many people expressing delight at the romantic pictures and caption. However, there was more to come from the lovebirds.
He is a writer and voice actor and currently working on an animated series with BRON studios titled “Blockwood.”
It came two days ago when Jasmin shared two pictures that showed her posing outdoors with her beau to celebrate his 32nd birthday. The cute couple smiled as they posed for snaps and looked great.
In the second snap, Eric planted a passionate kiss on Jasmin’s cheeks while she held the camera with one arm and embraced him with the other. She captioned the post:
“Happy birthday, my love! I’m so incredibly blessed to know you, to love you, and to have you by my side.”
Jasmin also toasted to many more blessings, laughs, and beautiful memories for Eric before expressing her deepest love for him. She also shared a picture of Eric blowing off the candles on his birthday cake on her Instagram Story.
On Monday, Eric shared a black-and-white video on his Instagram page that showed him surrounded by family and friends as they sang a birthday song for him before he blew off the candles on his cake.
In the post’s caption, he thanked everyone for their birthday wishes. He also revealed that Jasmin was the one who made the video.
It remains unclear how long Jasmin and Eric have been dating, but fans expect them to feature in each other’s social media feeds from now on since they have made their relationship public.
Besides their fathers being Hollywood and entertainment icons, Eric and Jasmin have one other thing in common: they are both their fathers’ eldest children.

Eric is the first of Eddie’s ten children. The “Coming to America” star became a father for the first time on July 10, 1989, when he welcomed Eric, who he shares with his then-girlfriend, Paulette McNeely.
Eric has followed his famous father’s footsteps by venturing into the entertainment industry. He is a writer and voice actor and currently working on an animated series with BRON studios titled “Blockwood,” which would star Jasmin’s dad.
Meanwhile, Jasmin, 25, is the first of Martin’s three daughters. The “Bad Boys” actor shares her with his first ex-wife, Patricia Lawrence. He also shares two daughters, Iyanna, and Amara, with his second ex-wife, Shamicka Gibbs.
