Aja Naomi King Attends the NAACP Award Dinner w/ White Husband … Black Twitter Reacts!

Actress Aja Naomi King recently attended the NAACP Award’s dinner, and she looked spectacular. But Media Take Out learned that he gorgeous actress did not come alone.

No, Media Take Out learned that she brought her handsome and supportive husband to the event with her. Her husband is White, and that has caused some on Black Twitter to criticize the actress.

Aja and Dan were married two years ago, and have a don together. There aren’t much details about Dan’s career except one interview, where he defined his role in their family as being a :full time father”. Dan also prepares all the meals for their family, and supports Aja in her career.

Of course many on Black Twitter, especially Black men, are somehow upset with Aja’s seemingly happy marriage.

Aja is an American actress. She began her career in guest-starring roles on television, and starred as Cassandra Kopelson in short-lived The CW medical comedy-drama, Emily Owens, M.D. (2012–13). She also has starred in the films Four (2012) and Reversion (2015).

From 2014 to 2020, King starred as Michaela Pratt in the ABC legal drama series, How to Get Away with Murder, for which she received an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series nomination in 2015. In 2016, she portrayed Cherry Turner in the historical film The Birth of a Nation (2016), receiving positive reviews from critics and NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture nomination. Since then, King appeared in the comedy-drama film The Upside (2017), played human rights activist Ifrah Ahmed 2019 in the biographical drama A Girl from Mogadishu (2019), and had roles in Sylvie’s Love (2020), The 24th (2020) and Boxing Day (2021)
