A BBL involves liposuction to remove excess fat from other body parts and inject the fat into the butt.
Ciara is embracing her post-pregnancy body. She referred to herself as “THICC-iara” last month.
The R&B singer shocked her fans who are used to seeing her slim athletic bod.
“I really love how she’s celebrating her post-baby body! That’s how must of us moms looked after the baby. This is reality Forreal,” one fan wrote on Instagram.
This year’s look contrasted with her heavily criticized appearance at last year’s Vanity Fair Oscar after-party.
Ciara wore a sheer black embellished halter Dundas gown with a plunging neckline.
She defended the Dundas gown in a May 20203 interview with LVR magazine.
“I love the concept with the black crystal versus white crystals. I loved the black sheer and combination of it all and seeing it on the runway,” she said. “It’s a process of getting ready for the red carpet. I pay attention to every detail. I have an appreciation for the art of fashion and the vision of the artist who created the garment.”
