Shad “Bow Wow” Moss is a lady’s man. The rapper, actor, and television personality has been connected to some of entertainment’s leading women. These days, he admits that famous women might not be on his radar anymore and that his next lady might possibly be a “regular girl.”
Bow Wow was the king of 106 & Park and, as a result, dated some of its queens. Early on, he was linked to 3LW frontwoman Kiely Williams. Williams addressed their time together on her group’s album A Girl Can Mack. On the record, “I Think I Want to Leave You,” she says, “I hang with big dogs/ So what’s a Lil’ Bow Wow?” Kiely explained then that Bow Wow tried to play them on national television, so the song lyric was a clap back. “Little boys like to throw rocks at girls when they like them,” she told MTV.
Bow Wow would go on to more publicly date Ciara, and the pair shared the record “Like You.” from 2004 to 2006, the duo would pop up on red carpets, and magazine covers together, and seemed like they were going to go the distance. Bow Wow revealed in recent years that they were even engaged. While he did not reveal too many details on their engagement, he has expressed regrets about how their union fell apart.
In addition to his engagement with Ciara, Bow Wow has also been engaged to Erica Mena. Shad and the reality television star were together from 2014 to 2015. Mena has admitted to Moss being abusive during their union, and things did not end on the best note. “I’ve been quiet about it because we were engaged,” she said following their split and he decision to not announce it immediately.
Bow Wow has two children; one is with social media personality Joie Chavis. Chavis also shares a child with Future. She and Bow Wow dated from 2010 to 2017. She would eventually date Diddy as well, something that Bow Wow considered a lack of respect. “Some things are off limits,” he said in an interview. However, he claims their co-parenting relationship remains solid. “It’s easy, man, and I think with time, you know, not everything is perfect in the beginning, but as we grow and we mature, and no one likes drama.”
Bow Wow was also romantically linked to Karrine “Superhead” Steffans for several years, with her admitting to sleeping with him while he was still considering “Lil Bow Wow” by the world. He also has ties to Blac Chyna and R&B singer Keyshia Cole. He opened up about dedicated songs to them on an album that has yet to come out.
The project might never see the light of day based on recent changes in his perspective. Bow Wow has alluded to quitting rap after his last tour and is looking to settle with a regular girl that he can introduce to a new lifestyle. “Love the fact that I can put someone onto my lifestyle and turn them on to new, different things.”
