Fans have been begging for Keke Palmer to join the cast of Sister Act 3 for a very long time. Despite Whoopi Goldberg’s and fans’ tweets about how much they want Teresa Palmer in the film, it is still not apparent whether or not she actually has a role. Palmer told HollywoodLife the allegations were false because there was so much doubt floating around.

Fans have been demanding that Palmer, who is also a singer, join Sister Mary Clarence’s choir ever since the film’s announcement.
“Goldberg, who is reprising the role in the film”, has discussed his attempts to get Palmer for the project.
She told Charlamagne Tha God, “I’m gonna ask Keke to come,” on Hell of a Week in October. Obviously, I’d like for everyone to join us. I’m hoping Lizzo will show up. She said she’d love it if Nicki Minaj came on board as well.
She also discussed this while Palmer was a guest on ‘The View’ in November of 2021.
Goldberg responded to Palmer’s desire to join the cast by saying, “I already brought it up.”
“Sister Mary Clarence, aka lounge singer Deloris Van Cartier”, will return to the convent for another musical adventure in Tyler Perry’s Sister Act 3.
As Perry stated last year, he wants this movie to be “that feel-good moment in the movies where you go, ‘Oh my God, I left there singing.’”
