Nia Long is asking a judge to grant her full physical custody of her 11-year-old son Kez Sunday Udoka. The “Love Jones” actress claimed his father, Ime Udoka, failed to provide child support.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Long, 52, requested full physical custody of Kez, whom she is raising alone.
According to TMZ, Long said Udoka is not active in the boy’s life and he failed to pay child support.
Long also requested that Udoka, 46, be given “reasonable visitation” rights and for him to pay her attorney’s fees.
The paperwork was filed on August 14 in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
The news comes as rumors swirled that Long and Udoka had reunited. They ended their 13-year relationship n 2022 after Udoka was accused of cheating with a married Boston Celtics staffer.
The Celtics suspended Udoka for a year in September 2022 and he was eventually fired in February.
Udoka led the Celtics to the NBA Finals in the 2021-22 season.
In April, the Houston Rockets hired him as head coach with a multi-million salary. But Long has not seen a dime for their son.
Nia also has a 22-year-old son named Massai Zhivago Dorsey II from a previous relationship.
