Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife Larsa Pippen is feeling completely ’embarrassed’ and ‘traumatized’ over Michael Jordan’s comments about her relationship with his son Marcus Jordan.
Michael Jordan expressing his feelings about his son’s relationship with the ex-wife of Michael Jordan’s enemy quickly went VIRAL on the internet which led Larsa to fee some kind of way.
The couple candidly discussed how they felt about Michael Jordan’s shocking remarks about their relationship on their podcast Separation Anxiety.
During the latest episode of the couple’s new podcast “Separation Anxiety,” 49-year-old Larsa openly discussed feeling “traumatized” and “embarrassed” after her boyfriend’s father Michael Jordan recently said that he didn’t approve of their relationship.
Last week, Jordan was asked if he approved of Marcus’ romance with reality TV star Larsa, to which the NBA superstar promptly told the paparazzi, “No.”
The video quickly went viral with Larsa facing the backlash over Jordan’s comments. Many fans accused Larsa of lying as she had been going around saying how much the Jordans love this new relationship.
On the podcast, Larsa asked Marcus if it was funny — clarifying that she didn’t think it was funny at all.
“You thought it was funny,” Larsa told Marcus. “I didn’t think it was funny. There is nothing funny about it.”
“… I kinda felt like it went everywhere and I was kind of embarrassed,” she added.
Larsa then said that it was traumatizing because she was under the impression that the Jordans were okay with her relationship with Marcus, 32.
“I was like traumatized,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Oh, my God. What are we going to do?’ People think I lied.”
Larsa expressed her worry about the fact that she told the media confidently that her parents and Marcus’ parents approved of their union.
“It literally went everywhere,” Larsa said. “I think people started to think that online they were saying that I was lying — that I lied and said that our parents are fine because I was doing interviews and saying both of our families are fine.”
“When I would say that, I felt like I didn’t embellish that… and I would say both of our parents want us to be happy… I do understand that it’s not awkward for us to be together because it’s us.”
She added: “But it probably is awkward for my ex Scottie Pippen and your dad because they have their own relationship or whatever it was. I wasn’t a part of that, you weren’t a part of that. So I feel like for them it probably is weird, it probably is weird for your dad. I can’t be mad. I understand… Oh my god, I was traumatized. I was like what are we going to do, people think I lied.”
While Larsa was traumatized and disliked Jordan’s comments — Marcus took it lightly and said that his dad was probably just joking around.
By the end of the podcast, Larsa and Marcus said that they’ve talked it out and they are in a good place.
“I feel good right now,” she said. “I feel like we talked it through.”
The couple made headlines last week when Michael Jordan was spotted leaving dinner in Paris and was asked by paparazzi what his thoughts were about his son’s relationship with Larsa.
